Honghua Dai received his B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU), Xi’an, China, in 2009. He achieved the PhD degree in flight vehicle design from the School of Astronautics, NPU, in 2014. He had been a visiting PhD student in University of California, Irvine from 2010 to 2012 focusing on computational nonlinear dynamics. He is now a Professor with the School of Astronautics, NPU. His current research interests include: spacecraft dynamics and control, nonlinear computational methods, etc. He is the principal investigator of a national key R&D program. He is the recipient of a series of academic and professional awards including, the 27th ICCES Outstanding Young Investigator Award (2017); Hong Kong Scholar Award (2017), Science and Technology Award of Shaanxi Province: Frist Prize (2020). He is an AIAA Senior member, and serves as editorial member for seven renowned academic journals. In 2021, he was selected into national young talent project.
